adidas Originals is bringing back the in the “Semi Frozen Yellow” and “Clear Pink” colorways to end the month of August. One pair comes dressed in “Semi Frozen Yellow/Scarlet-Collegiate Navy,” and the other in a “Clear Pink/Scarlet-Collegiate Navy” color scheme. Both are constructed with leather for a soft, supple feel, while having a distinctive split cupsole and retro-style details.



Now the colorful combinations are continuing on into the cold season — and the latest Falcon colorway to surface certainly carries the torch for the line, as it’s dressed with dashing silver accents. A combination of simple bone-colored mesh/leather and a dark grey leather heel piece make up the shoe’s base, while the colorful accents arrive via shimmering silver leather overlays offset by a small patch of fuschia-colored suede on the lateral forefoot. A two-tone white and grey outsole then completes the shoe’s look.

Every year the start of June also marks the beginning of Pride month, a four week-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. Many sneaker brands acknowledge the festivities with special releases, and adidas is among their ranks, presenting a capsule collection each and every year. We’ve already seen a Pride-centric take on the Ultra Boost 2019, and now the Three Stripes has also revealed a new version of the Continental 80, complete with bold rainbow detailing. A lifestyle favorite from the adidas Originals line, the special Continental features a supple eggshell-colored leather upper, one that’s somewhat reminiscent of the adidas Yeezy Powerphase.

Although the base is simple, it’s so the colorful accents can speak, and speak they certainly do. The midfoot’s fabric stripe features a five-color rainbow design that swoops from the collar down to the mudguard, and the trefoil-equipped tongue tag boasts similar rainbow stylings. The look is then completed by a rainbow-printed “Love Unites” graphic on the insole, a heartfelt nod to the most powerful force in the universe.

Following the release of the “White” and “Black” colorways, the returns for the summer in a “Grey” colorway. Having a similar design as the Yeezy PowerPhase, this iteration features a clean Grey leather upper with Yellow and Dark Navy contrasting accents. Perforated detailing on the toes and sides adds for air-flow atop a solid Grey rubber outsole.
